Quick Update

I know I haven't posted anything for awhile but the last 5 months have flown by. I will do a quick update of what has been going on. We are doing well. It has been busy but we are so blessed. Our family is what matter's most to us so it is easy to be happy when our family is doing well.
Kade loved Santa. He is so cute when he says ho ho ho. We have trained him to like Santa we didn't want him to freak out. He waived to him and said HI as we walked up. But Kade loves all people including everyone we walk by at Wal Mart, he says HI to everybody. It's pretty funny!
Kade has 10 teeth. He likes to brush them and show them off. He is a big cheese.
Kade is a tricky guy. He pulled down the cookies from the counter and had a few for breakfast. He is getting into some bad habbits being with Mitch so much. They eat cookies all the time. His favorite thing to say is Mmm.
Two weeks ago Kade was a sick boy. He had a high fever for four days. He would actually chill out and watch TV or let me hold him. We knew he was sick because he wouldn't eat cookies.
We went camping in November to Saw mill canyon. We of course had a trailer so it wasn't to cold. It was fun hanging out and eating lots of food.

Mitch took me hiking. It looks like a really nice day but it was pretty cold. We hiked in the dark and only saw animals far away. I don't really like hunting because we never see anything. But I sure like the hat that is my favorite.
Kade really likes horses. He especially likes to put his fingers in their eye balls, you know totally normal things for boys. That is Uncle Payton with him they are good buddies.

We had our little zebra for Halloween. He couldn't make a zebra sound but did lots of growling and a zebra dance that was pretty cute. Kade loves dancing! Thanks Sari for letting us borrow that! Overall we have had a great year and look forward to another one in 2010.

Update

So much has been going on. Stetson and Kara are moving to Pocatello in a week but Stetson started school at ISU on Tuesday so he has been staying with us so he doesn't have to drive so far. Mitch is still working his second job but is going to be quitting that soon because he decided he doesn't like working nights. There are many other reasons but you get the drift it stinks! It has been a long summer with that going on. I am still working at the hospital. Kade has been climbing on the coffee table and the couch and I am just waiting for him to jump off. He rode his little car out the sliding glass door onto the top landing and face planted. He had his stupid binky in so he started bleeding. He does love that car though. Thanks Jill! He gets mad at it when he falls off and will just stare at the car and point his finger at it. It is pretty darn cute! I am used to the crashes we just tell him he's tough and he usually starts smiling and it is over. That's about it nothing exciting.

Bear Lake

The sunday after Kade's birthday we headed for Bear Lake. Grandma Lory, shannon, me, payton, and Kade took off and spent two days. Kade wasn't walking yet so he crawled around and ate sand.
Kade loved the water he would walk around with help and laugh when the waves hit him. It was cute. We also did some boating and rode the tube. Payton loved the waverunner and laughed the entire time. We had a great time relaxing on the beach.

Happy Birthday Kade!

Kade turned one on July 15th! We had a little party with the family at the pond in Roberts. If you can't tell those are cars I tried to make and just a sidenote black frosting is hard to make. But Kade loved eating it.
We also had a little party at Littlewood's and he had his own cake there to. He would only eat the cake from the spoon he wouldn't eat with his hands it was funny. He would also get really mad if you took the cake away. We all had a good laugh.
Kade was the birthday prince but not very happy about the hat. He is sitting with uncle connor and with Mitch's cousin Colton they were visiting from Arizona. It was a big birthday party for all three they are all within a couple days of eachother.

4th of July

This year was Kade's first 4th of July. Like every year we went to the pond in Roberts with my family on the Albertson side. Stetson and Kara came up from Boise so the whole crew was there. We would sit by the water and water ski, knee board, and swim. The weather was nice and made for a lot of fun! We did have one afternoon rain storm that nearly blew us away but we survived. The most notable wreck this year was my dear old dad. He was trying to prove that even though he is a grandpa he can ski like the rest of us. Lucky for you an me he was wearing something under those shorts!!!

If you don't already know Kade loves food! I mean loves it, if you have any food at all you better be ready to share with Kade. I don't know if he ever recognizes that he is to full. Everybody shared with Kade and I swear he never had so much junk in his life. I thought he would go into a diabetic coma. Mitch let him have his own oreo and that was a big mess it was pretty cute though. But overall we had a good time haning out with the family.

Garden

We planted a garden this year at Littlewood's. Kade was so helpful he just loves dirt! I think our garden will turn out pretty good. It has rained so much this year it has helped keep it wet that's for sure.

What's been going on ...

It has been two months since I did my last blog and I do feel a little guilty. But we have been busy we went camping on memorial day to Raft River with the Littlewood's, Taylor's, and Stewart's. The weather was beautiful and it was a great time. Kade and I did some imaginary riding and it was fun I would make the noises Vroom Vroom and he would copy me. It was cute!
Of course we had a real ride. From the left : Shannon, Jake, Payton, me, and Mitch. It was really hot and dry but we had a good time. No wrecks to report of but I do have one I will post later of Mitch it's a good one.

Over all it was a good time we had a really big rain storm going out that cleaned off the truck and trailer so it was clean when we got home.

Easter Eggs

I know it is a little late for an Easter post but Kade had some cute pictures. I took him to a hunt in Shelley where Payton has been going for years. Kade was a little to young to grab eggs mostly because he is afraid of grass and wont move if he is on the ground. We mostly just went to say we took Kade to his first Easter egg hunt. We also colored eggs and Grandma Littlewood's house. I think I had more fun than anyone but I am young at heart! Again we took some fun pictures.

Mesquite Trip

We went on a family trip with the Littlewood's for spring break. We drove to Mesquite and went motor biking. The weather was so nice down there. It was 70 degrees the whole time and it was perfect! Kade was so good and had fun. We hung out by the pool and enjoyed the sun. Of course there was some biking and some good crashes. Mitch had one of the most memorable wrecks. I would post the video but Connor moved the camera to get a better look when Mitch's bike started crashing down the hill. I had the video camera and almost missed it. We were sad to come home to snow on our lawn. This picture is Uncle Connor and Kade being cool by the pool!

Kiss Me I'm Irish

Kade had fun at Grandma Littlewood's on St. Patrick's day! Grandma watched him when I had to go into the hospital to work and it looks like he had a good time. Grandma Littlewood watches him on Tuesday and Grandma Albertson on Thursday. They all have a good time. Kade is a very lucky boy to have such loving grandparents and I am too!

Let the Games Begin!

Kade recently learned how to pull himself up to things! First it was the coffee table and now it is everything. There have been plenty of crashes and lots of crying. I don't know how to baby proof everything but I will try. He is also a mama's boy. Which is funny because it makes Mitch mad! Mitch asked me why he was always so busy and I just laughed because he is just like his dad. Imagine that! I will be worried when he gets his first motorbike which is when Kade turns two I heard. It is exciting to see him grow so much but sad at the same time. We just have fun along the way that is all we can do.

I have been a little busy lately and haven't posted anything new. Things are going good. Kade is growing like crazy and getting into trouble. He is so fun to watch it's hard to be mad though. He has two little teeth now and they are so cute. They have just broke the skin. We are so grateful for what we have and love our little family.

Vacuum Monster

I guess you could say we are mean parents because we like to torture our child with whatever he is afraid of. Mostly we like to see his reaction because it makes us laugh. Today we had the vacuum out and Kade saw it on the floor and he scooted over to it immediately. We had just talked to my mom about how I was afraid of the vacuum and she would turn it on if I wouldn't pick up my toys and I would pick them up. So we decided to turn on the vacuum and see what Kade would do. It is a little floor vacuum so it would shake when it first turned on. Kade had a a scared look on his face and then started screaming. Mitch would turn it off and Kade would stop. It went back and forth Mitch turning the vacuum on and Kade screaming until we felt like mean parents. A few minutes after we had calmed Kade down we put him on the floor by the vacuum to see if he would go to it like before he didn't he just stared at it wondering if it was going to start up again.

Half Birthday

Kade turned six months on the 15th he had cereal for the first time. He did so good! He wanted to attack the spoon and bowl but now he does really good. He is such a good boy and loves food!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas! Even though Kade won't remember much about this Christmas it was still fun to watch him chew on his presents. We look forward for the new year and all that there is to do. Hope it is as fun as the last!
